Local Governing Body
Scholars’ Education Trustees value and recognise the contribution that the local governing bodies provide in raising educational standards and schools’ continuous development. The Trust supports the local governing board by providing regular appropriate training in-line with current educational guidelines.
The governors meet six times a year with a focus on the quality of education, attendance and behaviour and personal development.
Most governors undertake visits to the school and attend public events, such as open evenings and other extra-curricular activities. Individual Governors take a special interest in specific areas of school provision, such as Safeguarding, SEND and Pupil premium.
Most queries about the management of Priory and the progress of any individual child should be directed in the first instance to the school itself, but the Chair of Governors /Clerk to the Governors will be happy to answer any more general questions, particularly in relation to the role of the Governing Body.
Letters for the attention of the Chair of the Governing Body should be sent to the school.Governing Body Membership 2024 - 2025
